This case study is for Mirror. They're a small furniture store that sells quality furniture at affordable prices. They needed a combination mark logo that balances the look of luxury while being inexpensive.
Problem
Creating a logo that balances luxury and affordability. With a name like Mirror, the business needed to also visually look like
it belonged in the furniture business.
Solution
The logo icon is minimal with a dimensional quality to communicate a luxury feel while still having an approachable personality. Structure and reflection are the main messages that the icon delivers. The idea of reflections leans heavily into the uniqueness of the furniture store being called Mirror.
The type is a tracked sans serif that reads minimalism and luxury. However, taking note of brands like Warby Parker, the corners of the type are rounded to give a friendlier, more approachable feel.
